I was so puzzled by it! It looked very small, and rear-engined, so of course I thought it was kinda based on a classic Fiat 500. Turns out I was right: it’s an Autobianchi Bianchina Eden Roc, and it’s a damn cool thing! Too bad they are pretty expensive, and knowing 500s, prone to rust. I would love to get around a sunny Rome in this thing.
Pictures not mine, but it was in the same green as that last one.

Wow, where’d you see a Bianchina? There is one famously driven by a gorilla in the original Pink Panther movie.
I know someone with a Giardiniera which was the wagon version. It’s adorable.

I saw one of these on a random TV programme and had to post a screen grab here so somebody could ID it. They’re impossibly cute, like a Jolly.
